ALL CATCH AND RELEASE FISHING EXCEPT NORTHERN PIKE UNDER 30" CAN BE KEPT AND LOT'S OF PANFISH! Complementary 14 foot aluminum boats powered with electric motors along with canoe and paddle-boats are available to the angler.
Poplar Lake Sporting Lodge is a lodge having the options of renting for the week or long weekend. The Lodge sleeps 18, with 4 bedrooms (each 400 square foot) and additional bunk beds in recreation room, 3 1/2 bathrooms. People whether Spring, Summer, Fall or Winter whether a family vacation, a fishing trip to the waters of Little Bay de Noc or Lake Superior, hiking or a fall hunting adventure or winter vacation Poplar Lake Lodge is your GATEWAY to the Upper Peninsula!

Open weeks are filling fast with our "rates" starting at $1200 per week give us a call and we'll schedule your vacation to upper Michigan and Poplar Lake Sporting Lodge! Weekly rates run from Saturday "check-in 4:00 PM" to Saturday "check-out 10:00 AM." Bed linens are included as well a completely stocked kitchen of pots, pans, silverware along with appliances. You must furnish towels, etc.......

2009 Rifle Hunts "Opening Deer Season November 15th. week!" $2000.00 1st. Week with maximum of 12 people. $1500.00 2nd. Week with maximum of 12 people. Complete use of Poplar Lake Sporting Lodge. As of 2009 we are no longer guiding individual hunts but only take groups for archery, rifle and muzzleloading season! Guided and Baited Stand Stations still available at an additional cost. We are located in the Hiawatha National Forest , in Delta County, centrally located between Escanaba, Marquette, Munising and Manistique, MI. If peace and quiet, and the serenity of the forest, appeal to you, this is truly the place to be. We are almost completely surrounded by National Federal Forest lands, located 11 miles off US Hwy. 41; 17 miles north of Rapid River, MI, with no permanent residents for miles. We invite you to come and experience Poplar Lake Sporting Lodge with a state-of-the-art solar/ electric system. You can sit by the fireplace or spend your quiet nights on the deck overlooking our 42 acre private lake!
The bedrooms offer a stunning view for those early risers who wish to take in the breathtaking views of the lake as the sun rises over the mystical waters. Enjoy a hearty breakfast served in our spacious kitchen, or screened in porch, overlooking the lake. Then it's off to the days adventures!

First level Bedroom 2 sleeps 4 with 1 double, 1 single and portable with access to deck and adjoining bathroom.
Rent an entire 4000 square foot secluded modern lodge which includes a fireplace, pool table, 800 square foot kitchen with 6 burner stove and 2 refrigerators. Our Lodge sleeps a maximum of 18, features 4 four hundred square foot bedrooms accommodating up to 5 people per room, and one of the best views anywhere! Each room has its own private entrance and large picture windows overlooking the lake. Additional bunk beds are located in recreation room. We have 3-1/2 bathrooms for your convenience and a great whirlpool for those long days at the Lodge. Some of the "finest Artesian Spring Drinking Water" in the Lake Superior watershed region!

Located on first level, 1 1/2 bathroom with double sink and shower.
Two 500 foot decks, one screened in and both overlooking the lake. Forty-two acre private lake stocked with Northern Pike, Muskie, Walleye, Perch and LargeMouth Bass.
For the kids (or kids at heart!), we have a huge play area with swings, slides, fort with outdoor toys, volleyball net, horseshoe pits, pool table, player piano, and a beautiful beach along with our swim platform. Enjoy an evening by the "fire-pit" listening to the evenings sounds! More than Two-Hundred private acres surrounded by National Federal Forest lands , walking trails, dogsledding trails, skiing trails, mountain biking trails, horseback riding trails, and a beautiful private beach. Finally a 2 1/2 mile private driveway into the lodge!
Looking for a winter excursion and some of the greatest "silent-sports" with cross country skiing, snowshoeing along with the availability of some great snowmobiling on many National Federal trails!
